skill.cert is a project run by velpTEC GmbH and the Chair of Education focusing on Digitalization in Higher and Adult education (FAU). The project aims to develop scenario-based AI assessments that can be used to diagnose and test soft skills acquired informally or non-formally. Linked to LifeComp and the European Classification of Skills, Competences, Qualifications and Occupations (ESCO), European workers will receive a labour market-relevant, accessible, career-accompanying and standardised certificate of their soft skills after the assessment. This is a new, innovative and necessary way to respond resiliently to the economic transformation process.
